Pizza Rolls

You know I'm a Pinterest-aholic ... Its a great way to share ideas, makes and tips ... as well as recipes.

Being busy with college has left me a little overwhelmed when it comes to the kitchen but now that i am finished all my assessments, i can concentrate more on being creative (I hope).

Dinners have been very basic recently. It needed to be quick which meant we usually have the same things over and over ... Boring!

So a quick look on my savoury pinterest board threw up a few new ideas ... Including Pizza Rolls :)

They are really easy to make and can be made ahead of time and popped in the fridge which i like ... Saves time later on :)

You'll Need
Ready rolled Pizza Dough (or you could make your own if you have time)
Grated Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese Ball (cut into cubes or slices)
Tomato Puree
Selection of Fillings (I used Smoked Sausage)

To Make
Take the pizza dough out of the fridge about 30 minutes before you need to start as it makes it more pliable.

Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees and oil a big(ish) dish

Unwrap the dough so it lies flat on the work surface.

Spread a layer of the tomato puree over the dough (use as little or as much as you like).

Sprinkle over your toppings. Try to leave about 3cm at the top so there is plenty of room to wrap it.

Top with the grated cheese and mozzarella ... season with a little salt and pepper

Tuck the corner into itself and start to wrap the dough. Keep it tight and roll to the end. It will look like a giant swiss roll.

Next cut the dough into slices. It will look like pizza sushi :)

Place the rolls into the oiled dish and pop in the oven for 15-20 minutes till its slightly browned and the cheese has melted.

I served mine with chips and salad but you can have them with whatever you like :)
