Nutella Croissants

The kids have only just went back after the Summer and they are now on holiday this weekend for the September break ... Why is beyond me!

But they are and we have a tradition in this house to have a fun breakfast on the first day of the holidays.

When I asked M what he wanted, his only request was "something with Nutella". And although he's a big fan of Nutella a la Spoon - I figured I would make something a bit nicer ... So I made Nutella Croissants instead.

You'll Need
Nutella - about a tablespoon per croissant
Ready made croissant dough

To Make
Line a baking tray with grease-proof paper and pre-heat the oven to 180C

Crack open the roll of dough as per the instructions on the packet.

Roll out the dough and cut along the perferated line.

Add a tablespoon of nutella to the longest end of the dough and wrap.

*I'm not gonna lie, I'm not the best at rolling croissants but so long as they kind of resemble a crescent shape and all the openings are sealed (so the chocolate doesn't leak out) your all good in my book

Place on the tray making sure there is plenty of space between them (they will expand).

Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes (or until golden brown on top).

Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.

You definitely want to let it cool ... the chocolate is seriously hot!

Serve and Enjoy :)
