Hot Dog Mummies

I'm sure its obvious by now that I love October ... More specifically Halloween. I tend to drag it out like Christmas ... All month long.

One way I like to get spooky is by making some terrifying treats for dinner ... Like these Hot Dog Mummies.

Although they are a little fidgety to make they are worth it and trust me, the kids will be thrilled! You can serve with "Freaky Fries" and its a spooky dinner for your little Ghosts and Ghouls.

You'll Need
Large Hot dog sausages
croissant dough
mustard

To make
Pre-heat the oven to 180C

Drain the hot dogs and lay on a chopping board.

Slice the bottom of the hot dog vertically 1/3 of the way up. This will be the legs.

Slice into the hot dog where the arms would be. Make sure you DON'T CUT THE ARMS OFF! you will need these to wrap the dough around.

Set the hot dogs to the side and open the croissant dough. Unroll it and cut into strips.

Start to wrap the dough around your hot dogs. Make sure you wrap each arm and leg individually

Place on a oven tray with grease-proof paper and cook in the oven for about 10 minutes (or until the dough starts to brown).

Using the mustard place little dots where the eyes would be and serve.
