Can you do something wild?

Its almost June which marks the beginning of the #30DaysWild challenge set out every year by The Wildlife Trusts and is open to everyone up and down the country.

The aim is to get yourself off the sofa and out into nature every day for the month of June. Its a great chance to explore nature or make use of your local trust.

The Wildlife Trust is an organisation, made up of 47 individual Wildlife Trusts which cover the whole of the UK, and who aim to "rescue and restore places for wildlife and people".

The #30DaysWild challenge not only gets you out and enjoying nature as a family but it also helps educate people on what we can all to do make our environment more efficient and a better place for us all to live, wildlife included.

"Together we have a mission to create Living Landscapes, to secure Living Seas and to inspire people to value and take action for nature."

Since the Wildlife trusts are primary funded through Grants, Membership and  donations, taking part is also a great way to help promote the Trust and hopefully through gaining more awareness, they will get more funds to restore our natural environment.

Agent M and i are joining in this year and have signed up for the Information pack - You can get one posted out to you or opt for the Eco friendly option of getting the pack digitally.

On their site there is also a section for Kids, which gives you ideas on how to get them involved in nature through clubs and activities, so there is plenty of ideas to keep you going through the whole month :)
